The first Saturday of the month (September; 农历八月）was spent with the folks of Compassvale Lodge RC. Graced by Adviser to Sengkang GRC Grassroots Organisations , Ms Theodora Lai, folks were treated to an evening of good food, performances (Magic show by international magician Tommy Kian and award winning band Psquare 四方行 and great Mid Autumn Festival inspired fun across the evening.

World Mental Health Day Celebration@ Bukit Batok East

Mental Health Day, celebrated on October 10th, promotes awareness and support for mental well-being worldwide, encouraging self-care and understanding.

Over at Bukit Batok East, we celebrate it 3 days in advance as we embrace an often sensitive and intricate topic, mental wellness.

Very pleased to also have 18 different vendors joining us, target various age groups and debunking on the stigma about speaking of mental health openly. Great success to Bukit Batok East CCC for bringing this across the line!

Slew of amazing talented performers from My First Skool, South View Primary School and CCK Zone 4 RC strut their talents on the big stage in front of over 400 people.

Safety & Security Day @ Grandeur 8

Reporting live from Grandeur 8. Residents are welcomed to this 2 hour event that showcases essential lifesaving, firefighting and first aid skills and knowledge. The event was graced by our sturdy policemen from Ang Mo Kio South NPC, the dashing firefighters from Yishun Fire Station and also folks from the Singapore National Environment Agency. Big thank you to the Teck Ghee Central Neighbourhood Committee and Teck Ghee Community Emergency and Engagement Committee for putting this event through. Foster a community spirit and bringing residents together both old and young through gardening.

Residents were invited to an event filled with an myriad of knowledge sharing on composting and gardening. There was also a complimentary visit to the award winning Pandan Bloom garden with lots of prizes given. Residents were given a warm start to their weekend.
